Refund Policy

This policy establishes the rules and guidelines governing payments, refunds, and disputes for the digital credits (“Credits”) purchased on our platform.
By creating an order, purchasing Credits, and using our Services, you signify your unreserved agreement to this Refund Policy. Please read it carefully before committing to any transaction.
1. Nature of the Product and Delivery
OpenDream Upscale sells digital “Credits” which are consumed to process (upscale and denoise) images using our integrated Artificial Intelligence tools.
- 1.1 Immediate Delivery. Credits are digital goods that become immediately available in your account balance upon the successful completion of a payment.
- 1.2 Non-Returnable. Due to the immediate delivery and inherently digital nature of these Credits, they cannot be "returned" once they have been allocated to your account.
2. General Non-Refundable Policy
All purchases of Credits on OpenDream Upscale are FINAL and NON-REFUNDABLE.
As an explicit step during the checkout process, before creating any order, you are required to acknowledge and agree to the following statement: "I understand and accept that the AI is not perfect so I will not request a refund for results that do not meet my expectations."
- 2.1 AI Unpredictability. Artificial Intelligence is probabilistic. Outcomes may feature unwanted artifacts, hallucinations, altered facial features, or results that do not satisfy your personal standards. Because image processing permanently consumes external compute resources regardless of the aesthetic quality of the final output, we do not offer refunds, partial or full, for unsatisfactory AI results.
- 2.2 Unused Credits. Unused Credits remaining in your account balance are not eligible for a refund or cash exchange at any time, including in the event of account termination by either you or us.
3. Exceptional Circumstances for Refunds
We recognize that technical errors occasionally occur. OpenDreamnet may, at its sole and absolute discretion, grant a refund or manually allocate Credits only under the following documented circumstances:
- 3.1 Duplicate Charges. If a technical error causes you to be charged more than once for a single order on the same billing cycle.
- 3.2 Non-Delivery. If a payment is fully successfully captured and processed, but the corresponding Credits are not added to your account due to a system failure on our end, and our support team cannot manually add the Credits.
To request assistance for exceptional circumstances, you must contact our support team at [email protected] within seven (7) days of the transaction date. You must provide a valid Transaction ID, Receipt, or Invoice number.
4. Billing Fraud, Chargebacks, and Payment Disputes
We take fraudulent activity, friendly fraud, and illegitimate chargebacks very seriously to maintain good standing with our international banking partners and payment networks.
- 4.1 Chargeback Prevention. Before filing a dispute or chargeback with your bank, credit card company, or payment institution, we strongly require you to contact our support team at [email protected] to resolve any legitimate payment disputes.
- 4.2 Consequences of Disputes. If you open a chargeback, payment dispute, or reversal request claiming an unauthorized payment, or claiming the product was not as described (despite the mandatory disclaimers), we will:
- (a) Immediately and permanently suspend your account.
- (b) Revoke any unused Credits and processed images currently in our system.
- (c) Provide extensive evidence to the payment gateway and financial institutions. This evidence will include, but is not limited to: IP addresses, server logs, the digital invoice, proof of the mandatory checkbox acceptance regarding AI imperfections, timestamped usage of the Credits, and the Terms of Service.
- 4.3 Unauthorized Use. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and payment methods. We do not provide refunds for claims that a family member, child, or unauthorized individual gained access to your device and purchased Credits.
5. Account Termination
As stated in our Terms of Service, violating our policies—especially uploading strictly prohibited Adult, Exploitative, or Illegal content—results in immediate account termination. If your account is terminated for violating our Terms of Service, you forfeit any unused Credits, and no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
6. Modifications to this Policy
OpenDreamnet S.A.S. de C.V. reserves the right to modify this Refund Policy at any time. Changes become effective immediately upon being posted on this page. Your continued use of the platform after any such updates constitutes your binding acceptance of such changes.
